Welcome to my new and improved Blog.

I decided it was time for a change!

I write this Blog for me, no one else, just me. It is a way to think outloud, and to share my experiences with the world. Maybe some will be interested and some will not, and who knows, I might figure something out myself. I will talk about whatever comes to my mind, and sometimes it is hard for me to do, but I will do it anyway.

I enjoy photography so you will see a lot of my work. I love to read and you will see quotes from my favorite authors. Generally follow my life as try to obtain my undergrad in Art History and English at Carleton University.

Please read, enjoy and comment, open disscussion is welcome.

I didn't think it would be like this

Nope not at all.

Nathan went out the door first. Couldn't wait to get to the bus and to school!

Miranda went next humming and grabbing Nathan's hand, happy to be off too. Or so it seemed.

Jack went running out behind them, a quick kiss, and grabbing his breakfast (to eat in the car again) to drive them to the bus. (Jack is always late)

Of a weekend of crying fits (Miranda not feeling good about herself)
Temper tanuturms (Nathan, over tired and grumpy)
And Jack and I trying to be patient and loving, and tired too.

I heard it when I closed the door.

Ahhh Quite

Blissful, Peaceful, joyfully quite.

I didn't think I would like the quiet or to having this time of peace and quite to myself.

But I am. This is the first day I realized it.

I know come 2 I will miss my kids.

But for now the Peace is nice.

I actaully went back to bed for an hour and a half.

I feel refreshed.

Maybe this school thing is not so bad. Nathan sure loves it which makes it easier for me to let him go.

Miranda will still be here for a couple of more years, so I will enjoy that time with her.

Jack will ALWAYS be around. That's a good feeling too.

Well most days. ;)

Off to do something for myself,

with a smile.

good for you for going back to bed! Nothing like some great sleep to revitalize you for everything.

Enjoy the quiet, that way you can enjoy the noise when it comes.

The silence is golden after a busy 'out the door morning', but I am always happy to see them come through the door at the end of the day.
