Welcome to my new and improved Blog.

I decided it was time for a change!

I write this Blog for me, no one else, just me. It is a way to think outloud, and to share my experiences with the world. Maybe some will be interested and some will not, and who knows, I might figure something out myself. I will talk about whatever comes to my mind, and sometimes it is hard for me to do, but I will do it anyway.

I enjoy photography so you will see a lot of my work. I love to read and you will see quotes from my favorite authors. Generally follow my life as try to obtain my undergrad in Art History and English at Carleton University.

Please read, enjoy and comment, open disscussion is welcome.

Here's one I took just the other day. Nathan wanted to make a pile of leaves and jump in them. so after working on it alone for the better part oof an hour. (he had to truck the leaves from the back yard WHere there are tons to the front where ther are not as many...not sure why) he finally gets to jump into all his hard work, I ended up taking about 50 shots of him doing this and ended up raking them back up for him and watching him go again. Here he is enjoying the fall, almost totally buried in this shot. But his smile tells it all.

He has an infectious smile and laugh. No matter how upset I am with him he can make me smile!

I wish I could make them bigger but I'm not sure how. Any suggestions? Blogger won't download them for me. So I do this from my Flickr account.

Wow, you're getting really good with your new camera. That's a beautiful shot. Same with the one of your niece's hand - priceless!
