Welcome to my new and improved Blog.

I decided it was time for a change!

I write this Blog for me, no one else, just me. It is a way to think outloud, and to share my experiences with the world. Maybe some will be interested and some will not, and who knows, I might figure something out myself. I will talk about whatever comes to my mind, and sometimes it is hard for me to do, but I will do it anyway.

I enjoy photography so you will see a lot of my work. I love to read and you will see quotes from my favorite authors. Generally follow my life as try to obtain my undergrad in Art History and English at Carleton University.

Please read, enjoy and comment, open disscussion is welcome.

Sunday and Wednesday

Race up that hill Daddy

No coat needed

Sunday was a relaxing day here.
The night before I had a bunch of my girlfriends over for what I am now calling my First Annual BIG ASS SLEEPOVER!
We ate stuff we shouldn't.
We ate way too much
We drank way too much.
We talked.
We laughed.
We enjoyed every moment
Some came just for a little while and the rest slept over. It was great.
BUT Sunday none of us were feeling all that great.
I did manager a walk on this beautiful day with my family.
Jack, Nathan and Miranda and the two dogs. It was unusually warm for this time of year so we took advantage of it.

Wednesday I took the day off to meet a friend and see a movie we both wanted to see for awhile. It was great, and we had a great time.
After that I swallowed a quick lunch and raced over to Carleton University for my appointment with a councillor.
Needless to say I was a bit taken aback when this handsome young man came out to and introduced himself as my councillor. I could have been his mother!
He did know what he was talking about and I am now working on my application to university. WOO HOO. At least now I know what I can or can't do.
So I'm working on my essay. Getting my transcripts in order and applying online.
I think I'm ready to do this.
I hope I'm ready.
But doing it I am.
